Coffs Harbour Redevelopment – Major Medical Procurement & Commissioning Advisory

The Coffs Harbour Hospital campus is undergoing expansion to bring new and improved health care to a growing Mid North Coast community.

CCG has been contracted to collaborate with the Local Health District and project team and to provide :

  • Facility design advice
  • Procurement of Major Medical Equipment in Imaging, CSSD, Emergency Department, ICU and Theatres

Hornsby Hospital – Major Medical Procurement Advisory

CCG were engaged as Procurement Advisors on the $200 million Stage 2 Redevelopment. Stage 2 of the project included a refurbished and expanded Emergency Department and a new multi-storey Clinical Services Building including a comprehensive Medical Imaging department (including NM and MRI).

In addition to completing the procurement scope, CCG developed the RFT templates which is used across NSW Health Infrastructure projects today. These templates introduced a focus on functional outcomes and were acknowledge as improving the procurement experience for both Local Health District (LHD) and vendors.

CCG were able to meet tight project timelines and were able to align activities with LHD availability and other clinical commitments.

Macksville Hospital Development – Major Medical Procurement & Commissioning Advisory

The NSW Government committed $73 million to deliver a new hospital for the Macksville community.  Built on a Greenfield site just outside of town, the Macksville Hospital was designed to meet the unique local health challenges including chronic illness and the complex health needs of its significant aged and Aboriginal populations.

CCG has been contracted to collaborate with the Local Health District and project team and to provide :

  • Facility design advice
  • Procurement of Major Medical Equipment in Imaging, CSSD, Emergency Department and Theatres
  • Commissioning advisory across all MME

Mudgee Hospital – Major Medical Clinical Planning & Procurement Advisory

CCG were engaged to complete a functional brief across Imaging and Operating Theatres. This process was to inform the design and procurement phases.

CCG were able to extract the required clinical input primarily from existing User Group meetings and via efficient engagement with the relevant stakeholders.

CCG’s involvement then extended to procurement and commissioning of all MME.

Westmead CASB – Major Medical Procurement & Commissioning Advisory

CCG were engaged part way through a complex MME procurement project for the $750 million for Stage 1 of the Westmead redevelopment.

The project plans to co-locate complex and critical care services into a multi-storey Central Acute Services Building (CASB) located between Westmead Hospital and the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network (Westmead).

The MME scope included multiple units of  CT, MR, X-ray, Hybrid Angiography, Cardiac Cath Labs, Cone Beam CT, Digital Operating Theatres, Intraoperative CT and MRI, Pendants & Lights.

New Maitland Hospital – Major Medical Commissioning Advisory

CCG were engaged as Commissioning Advisors  on the $470 million New Maitland Hospital project to provide a comprehensive healthcare facility to meet the growing health needs of the Maitland and Hunter communities now and into the future.

The MME scope included CT, MR, X-ray, Cardiac Cath Labs, OPG, Digital Operating Theatres, CSSD and Pendants.

The Canberra Hospital Expansion – Major Medical Equipment (MME) Advisory and Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E)

CCG are currently engaged as Major Medical Equipment Advisors on the largest healthcare infrastructure commitment ever undertaken by the ACT Government. The expansion of the Canberra Hospital will include a new Critical Services Building at the existing hospital campus in Woden.

Western Cancer Centre Dubbo – Major Medical Commissioning Advisory

CCG were engaged as Commissioning Advisors  on the $35 million Western Cancer Centre Dubbo project which aims to improve health outcomes for people with cancer in NSW’s Central West.

The MME scope included PET CT & Radiation Therapy equipment.

 

Inverell Hospital redevelopment – Major Medical Commissioning Advisory

CCG were engaged as Commissioning Advisors on the Stage 1A redevelopment by Health Infrastructure in partnership with Hunter New England Local Health District on the $60M project.

The MME scope included Operating Theatres, Medical Imaging and CSSD.

Tweed Valley Hospital– Major Medical Commissioning Advisory

CCG are currently engaged as Commissioning Advisors on the $723 million Tweed Valley Hospital project. The Tweed Valley Hospital will deliver a new state-of-the-art facility that has more beds and greater capability to serve the growing Tweed-Byron community.
