I’m really passionate about delivering outcomes in healthcare.

I have been fortunate to work across the healthcare sector in a range of clinical, commercial and leadership roles. I love the challenge of solving a complex problem, creating a winning strategy ( a plan) and working with others to deliver value (results / clinical outcomes).

I founded Core Connect Group (CCG) in 2016 to bring together a team of experienced healthcare executives. We aimed to provide clients with flexible access to specific “core competencies” that we felt were needed to solve the operational challenges within the Australian healthcare sector.

To give back to the sector and to help progress Australia’s interest, I currently Co-Chair the IoTAA Health Workstream.

Since starting in 2016, we are proud to have helped to improve the Australian Healthcare sector by:

• Creating clear Strategic and Operational plans: we have helped facilitate growth and efficiency workshops, and Board meetings for healthcare business of all sizes from Not-For-Profits to listed companies and Private Equity firms
• Providing clarity and confidence around IT infrastructure: doing cool things like coordinating penetration testing on client IT networks to help verify network security
• Optimising the use of assets – we have performed detailed asset audits in both private and public sector facilities to inform strategic asset optimisation initiatives
• Delivering our clients the latest and most relevant medical technology: we have directly managed the procurement of over $80M worth of Major Medical Equipment (MME) including Medical Imaging, Operating Theatre and Sterilisation equipment
• Creating clear Strategic and Operational plans: we have helped facilitate growth and efficiency workshops for healthcare business of all sizes, from Not-For-Profits to listed companies and Private Equity firms
• Creating collaborative and functional Healthcare facilities: we have delivered multiple projects with commercial property partners to evaluate, design and execute on commercial healthcare projects
• Facilitating optimal business transitions: we have been trusted by the owners of multiple healthcare business to advise on the sale and transition of their businesses
• Providing valuable external perspective to pressure test strategy and operational performance: we use our broad expertise to conduct business/department reviews to provide benchmarking and strategic recommendations
